Livewire Adds Top PA Ski Resorts to Ticketing Network

Ski Roundtop, Liberty, Whitetail tickets to be sold by self-service kiosks

Livewire Kiosk announced today that it has signed an agreement with Snow Time Inc., the owner and operator of Pennsylvania’s Ski Roundtop, Liberty Mountain Resort, and Whitetail Mountain ski areas. The agreement allows Livewire to sell tickets to the resorts from its network of self service kiosks, which are placed in high-traffic retail environments. Livewire expects to have kiosks in place by the beginning of the 2002-2003 ski season, in December.

Using the kiosks, skiers and snowboarders can purchase lift tickets in advance, saving time by skipping long ticket purchasing lines during peak hours at the ski resort. Because the tickets it dispenses are fully valid, active tickets, not vouchers, customers can go directly from their car to the ski lifts.

Eric Flynn, President of Liberty Mountain Resort said “We’re always looking for new ways to serve our customers and this system will allow them to spend more time where they want to be - skiing or boarding. We also believe that Livewire’s kiosks in retail environments will help us to introduce skiing and snowboarding to people we could not otherwise reach.” In addition to the three Pennsylvania resorts, Snow Time Inc. also owns and operates the Windham Mountain Resort in New York.

Livewire’s ticketing kiosks are placed in high-traffic retail stores in Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, Pennsylvania and New England. They dispense tickets to a wide variety of events year round.
