Livewire to supply kiosks to Pfaltzgraff Stores
Retail stores will offer self-service gift registry and other functions
Livewire Kiosk announced today that it has
signed an agreement with The Pfaltzgraff Co. to provide a network of web-connected
interactive kiosks to Pfaltzgraff's 70 retail outlets.
Using the kiosks, Pfaltzgraff customers will be able to access Pfaltzgraff’s gift registry, its
database of patterns, and its online catalog. Livewire is known for its expertise in
developing kiosks for the retail environment, having deployed over 120 retail kiosks in the
past 3 years. The Pfaltzgraff kiosks will be based on Livewire’s proven web-enabled kiosk
technology. Livewire expects to have the first kiosks in place by January 1, 2003.
Howard Blumenthal, Pfaltzgraff’s Director of E-Commerce said "We’re always looking for
new ways to serve our customers and this system will allow them to easily establish and
access a national gift registry while in our stores. In addition, the kiosks will also provide
an easy way for customers to find all available items in their dinnerware patterns or place

more customer benefits to the kiosks over time."
